JConcepts Ellipse - green compound (Fits - JC #3405 Mini-T | Mini-B rear wheel)

The Ellipse, named after the center bar built into the tread, complements successful JConcepts tires already in the line-up. The "Web" style tire was designed to compete on smooth high-grip indoor and outdoor surfaces requiring a finely detailed connected bar pattern. The center section of the tire uses a diamond "home plate" footprint to provide massive surface area, better footprint, and increased longevity. The web of extensions is unique and has a directional touch, giving the racer ultimate tune-ability.

Available unmounted for the Losi Mini-T (front/rear) and Mini-B (rear), the Ellipse tire is produced in the green compound, which is extremely versatile for Mini vehicles. Jason Ruona explains, “The Ellipse has a slightly smaller carcass, allowing the driver to attack high-speed sections with more comfort. The ‘home plate’ and connected web of tread have more stability at high speeds and hold the tire together for today’s high-powered vehicles. Connected tread wears significantly better, which is useful for indoor racing where a racer can break in and race with the same pair all weekend.”

Pair the new rear Ellipse tire with the #4002 Ellipse front for the ultimate indoor and grooved outdoor track conditions. The combination of the aggressive and directional tread pattern applied through the sticky green compound works well in various racing conditions.
