From the mind of Dennis Anderson, the wild and wooly KingSling was born. The ultimate Mega Truck, born in Poplar Branch, North Carolina,has a wild side, combining the brute power and durability of a monster truckwith the madness of a mud racer. King Sling is a beast, and JConcepts hasworked together with designers and builders to replicate this body shell to fiton a host of popular chassis including the Axial SMT10.
The slate was once again wiped clean and the form started totake shape in the computer to fit and finish on a selection of vehicles. A lotof hand dressing took place to ensure the details were correct on the shellitself, not to mention the iconic wing shape and rear scoop treatment. Fred"Freestyle" Reep sat shotgun on this project reviewing the style, shape anddecal creation to ultimately please the man, the myth the legend, DennisAnderson.
No superstar race machine would be complete withoutdecoration. The King Sling is the first JConcepts body to include two decalsheets in the package that covers logos, signatures, flames and brandingrecognition. The product is formed in durable polycarbonate and includespainting window mask for ease of use. Fine detailing and trimming to the bodyshell comes from the purchasing enthusiast where the imagination and skill settakes over.
The three piece body design offers the highest quality indetail giving the builder several options, replicating the original KingSling or even creating a unique RC Mega Truck identity.

Creation history -
The JConcepts team met on location to photograph, measure and sketch up the 1:1King Sling. Experienced industry insiders sat to discuss the project and layplans to fit and finish the popular body to several popular chassis sets on themarket. Computer drawings were completed during the summer of 2017 and fromthere, professionals at JConcepts took the necessary hand finishing time topin-point focus sections of the creation. Wing, scoop and final fitment werecomplete during the late summer and decals designs finished and put intoproduction.
Test samples were produced and the first working prototype hit the dirt during thelate stages of 2017. Professional painting, photography and press release werecreated to go along with the product.
